All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit              Acts 2:4

Jesus promised the Holy Spirit and delivered on that promise.  All those who followed him were filled and that was the power that began the church and continues to sustain the church today.  Have you ever felt the presence of the Holy Spirit?  Have you ever been in a place or part of a process where the Holy spirit was evident?

This past Sunday we announced that I have accepted the appointment to be the lead pastor at Harvest UMC in Bradenton Fl.  The coming to this announcement has taken a few months and been a process.  All along the way I have sensed the presence of the Holy Spirit.  It has been very real, powerful, and humbling.

Not only have I felt the spirit, but others involved have shared stories of being led by the spirit. I have laughed with Superintendents who are amazed at the “coincidence” of God’s provisions.  Other times we have been brought to tears by how perfectly complete the Holy Spirit’s work has been in the process.

This is not only true for me but also for New Horizon.  It is the perfect, complete work of the spirit that is bringing a pastor from South Africa to lead this church.  Amazing!

All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit.
