Dear Members and Friends of New Horizon UMC,
 
Here it is October when we share our testimonies of extravagant generosity and rejoice at the blessings that have been poured out on us throughout the year. We’ve come to appreciate our church as God’s home and a very vital part of our lives. Our giving to the church impacts many people in the community, furthering our mission and ministry initiatives.  Our generosity also supports the church’s vision of Christ’s love: encounter, experience, extend.  

Friends, we are reaching out and praying that you are on this journey with us to grow disciples and change lives in our community and across the world. In Acts 20:24 Luke says: “What matters most to me is to finish what God started – the job the Master Jesus gave me of letting everyone I meet know all about this incredibly extravagant generosity of God.”  (The Message translation).  God is working through us to build a culture of generosity. 

We ask you to prayerfully consider your pledge to New Horizon Church for the coming year.  Try tithing or being a little more generous to help keep our ministry thriving and our doors wide open.  
 
Stewardship Commitment Sunday will be November 9.  We will distribute commitment pledge cards on October 26 and collect them on November 2^nd.  Please bring your pledge card to the altar or place it in the offering plate, or simply complete the online pledge card by November 9.
