This ministry is a perfect opportunity to make new friends, get inspired and grow deeper in faith.
Joy Circle
Meets the Second Monday of each month at 10-11:30 am Sept-June. No meetings from July through August.
The Purpose: The Joy Circle group of New Horizon UMC is a community of women of all ages and stages whose purpose is to know God and be his hands and feet. We strive to be a supportive group extending fellowship and love through outreach to our church family and community.
The Vision: Showing God’s love through action on behalf of God’s children who may feel ‘less than’ at times.
Living the Vision: We provide opportunities to gather becoming more aware of God’s presence, Christ’s overwhelming love for us and the Holy Spirit’s covering and protection. We organize not only for our own growth in our faith walk but to provide the touch that will share this vision with others.

The funds are used to support multiple missions throughout the year. If you are crafty and want to contribute items, please contact our church office. We also have a a supply closet of items to use for your creations, stop by to see what we have.
Prayer Shawl
Prayer Shawl is a healing ministry of New Horizon UMC. We make prayer shawls for anyone that is going through a difficult physical time like chemo or radiation. We want the wearer of our shawls to know that they are being wrapped not only in a warm, secure garment, but also in the warmth of continual prayer and the security of God’s love.

Join us on the second and fourth Friday every month at 10:30 am in the Mission Building with your favorite board game to play with the group. Contact Chris Harris for more information christineharris4132@gmail.com.
