Dear New Horizon family,
May this letter find you and your family blessed. This past Sunday was announcement Sunday, and Kerry Newness, our SPRC chair shared with our Community that Pastor Peytyn, after a season of deep discernment and consultation, will be leaving New Horizon to serve a new calling at Christ Church United Methodist Church east of I-95.
For over 22 years, Pastor Peytyn has served our Community in many different capacities and has been on staff for 15 years when she received her call to that of Licensed Local Pastor. A momentous moment that celebrates God’s faithfulness and call.
Please join me in honouring Pastor Peytyn’s ministry at New Horizon as we share stories together that celebrate the gifts she has shared at New Horizon.
On the 4th of June we will gather together in a farewell service, as Peytyn testifies, this is a time of celebration and sadness as she lives out God’s calling on her life from Joshua 1:9. A formal invite will follow soon.
