A Note From Pastor Jacqui 1/18/23

Dear New Horizon Family,
An African proverb says if you want to go fast, go alone; but if you want to go far, then go together.
Driving on the I-95 gives new meaning to going ‘fast’ it almost at times feels like a real movie car chase. Going fast gets us there for sure but this proverb teaches us that going ‘far’ whether it is a physical distance or the deep journeys we go to within our own lives or the sacred times we enter the path of another human being is the essence of LIFE.
Going far together ensures EVERYONE is still on the journey.
The beginnings of a new year are always so busy and filled with much anticipation and hopes and dreams. My prayer as we meet at our Ministry and Leadership Retreat on Saturday to offer ourselves in service to New Horizon, or around the Craft Tables, the Nourishing Lives Ministry, the Golf Day preparations and all the many moments of ministry that we encounter this year that we will go far with each other.
