1/7/2026 A Note From Pastor Tammie

Dear Beloved Friends in Christ,

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As we move through this week, I want to encourage you and warmly invite you to continue joining us for our midweek prayer meetings. God is at work among us, and prayer remains the primary way we align ourselves with what the Lord desires to do in and through our church.

Church history reminds us of the quiet but powerful impact of prayer. One evening of prayer at Fetter Lane in London became a turning point in the lives of John and Charles Wesley. In that prayer gathering, their hearts were deeply stirred, their faith was renewed, and what followed was a spiritual awakening that shaped Methodism and influenced countless lives across generations. Today, we still benefit from the fruit of that single prayer-filled evening through hymns, preaching, discipleship, and a global movement centered on holiness and grace.

As we step into 2026, let us be intentional about pursuing a faithful spiritual discipline of prayer and fasting. Scripture is clear: many things will not happen unless or until we pray. Here among us, we have been praying—and while the movement of God may feel slow at times, it is steady, sure, and unmistakable. Seeds are taking root. Hearts are being shaped. Doors are opening.

Now is not the time to grow weary or fearful. Let us stand courageously for what the Lord requires of us, trusting that obedience and perseverance in prayer will bear fruit in due season.

If you are able, please join us for the remaining prayer gatherings this week. Come expecting, come believing, and come as you are. There is a place for you in this sacred work.

With hope and confidence in God’s faithfulness, love and towel (St. John 13:1-5).

Love and Towel (St. John 13:1-5),
Pastor Tammie
