12/3/2025 A Note From Pastor Tammie

Good morning, beloved friends in Christ.

I greet you today with a grateful heart in the wonderful Name of Jesus, our Lord. I pray this message finds you resting in His peace and strengthened by His grace.

I had a beautiful Thanksgiving in Tallahassee with family and friends. I am also thankful that my Creole baked turkey did not disappoint—they asked for the biggest turkey I could find, and by the end of the meal there wasn’t a single piece left! God is good.

I ask you to continue lifting up my grandson and his family in your prayers. They spent Thanksgiving Day in the hospital, but thanks be to God, he is now home and resting. He will return in two weeks for his third round of chemo. Through it all, we continue to trust that the Lord is with us, guiding, healing, and sustaining us. Your prayers mean more than you know, and we are deeply grateful.

As we enter this holy season of Advent, I am looking forward to journeying with you. I encourage you to join us on Sunday evenings as we prepare our hearts for the coming of the Messiah. Each week we will gather to share Holy Communion, pray together, testify to God’s goodness, and thank the Lord for being with us through every blessing and every challenge that 2025 has brought our way. Truly, through it all, we’ve learned to trust in Jesus and to rest in God’s unfailing love.

Advent reminds us that even in the longest nights, God’s light is on the way. Christ comes to us with hope, peace, joy, and love—gifts strong enough to carry us through anything we face. May your heart be open to His coming, not only in Bethlehem long ago, but in the quiet places of your life today.

As we move toward Christmas, I invite you to bring someone with you—family, a neighbor, a coworker, someone who may need a touch of God’s love. Your invitation might be the very gift their heart has been waiting for.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, strengthen you and surround you with peace.

Love and Towel (St. John 13:1-5),
