05/08/2025 A Note From Pastor Tammie

Dear beloved friends in Christ,

We are living in a challenging season—both here and abroad. The burdens of life are real. Sadness, pain, and trauma weigh heavily within us and around us. Yet, we are reminded that even in sorrow, we are not alone. Let your tears flow, for they water the ground of renewal.

Now more than ever, the call is clear: the Christian must rise, let go of bitterness, and die to self. We must not let frustration or grief rule our lives. God is still at work—even when we cannot see His hand or understand His plan.

On Easter Sunday, I testified with joy that I had two daughters who were cancer survivors. Today, that is no longer the case. I do not yet understand, but I still trust God. We are a resilient people. We will overcome.

Today marks the first meeting of the Conclave—a prayerful step forward for the Catholic church’s leadership and direction. Please keep this gathering in your prayers as they seek God’s wisdom together.

And for us, you are invited to get involved as our church continues to faithfully grow day by day:

  • Join a Bible study on Wednesdays or Sunday mornings.
  • Watch for our prayer week gatherings.
  • Join the Praise Team or Choir if you love to sing.
  • Share your testimony—your story could bless someone else.

Let us continue to make disciples for the transformation of our community and the world. I look forward to seeing you in person this Sunday. Don’t forget to invite a neighbor!

In Christ’s love,
Pastor Tammie
