7/31/2024 A Note From Pastor Tammie

Greetings church family, in the Name that is above all Names, Jesus the Christ.

The month of July went by very fast here at New Horizon. Please check our church website to see all the events that took place during the month of July. Besides coming together for ministries such as youth camp, food distribution, uplifting and passionate worship in both services, we immersed ourselves in prayer. It is our intention to continue to pray the month of August as one family every Sunday evening. Let’s come in full for a revival prayer and praise as we share our testimonies and present our requests to God.  You will be blessed that you came for “prayer is powerful and effective”.

Thank you, beloved family, for your devotion to God and God’s people. Thank you for your continued effort in helping us bridge the financial gap. We are living in a challenging time. The pandemic had its toll seemingly on our churches, the disaffiliation did its part as well. Nonetheless, Jesus is still in the business of building his church. If there is a time for each member to take seriously our membership vow to confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; to believe in the Christian faith as contained in the Old and New Testaments; to support The United Methodist Church; and to uphold the local congregation with our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness, it is more so now than ever before.

I would like to hear from you and better yet, meet with you.

Call the office or email us. The office manager, Ms. Ann Malone, will gladly connect you with me.  I am inviting you to join me in King David’s unwavering conviction stated in Psalms 16:8 and Psalm 30:6 “I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand I shall not be moved”. I am all in. How about you? I look forward to seeing you in worship Sunday, the Lord willing.

Love and Towel (St. John 13:1-5),

Pastor Tammie
