Dear New Horizon family,
As I write this letter, my heart is full—of love, gratitude, and sadness. The moment has arrived for me to say,” Goodbye” this week, and embark on a new chapter of my journey.
In the past 22 years, I have witnessed God’s grace and blessing in this community. I am immensely grateful for the memories shared, friendships formed, prayer and support received. New Horizon has been a home. Perry and Jake have grown up within the loving embrace of this church family. We are grateful.
Jesus commanded us, “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” (John 13:34) These words are the guiding light for our community. I have seen firsthand the power of love in action among us and in this community.
The book of Hebrews reminds us, “Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” (Hebrews 10:24) In our calling to serve, we find our purpose and fulfillment. Each of you possess unique gifts and talents that, when combined, create a beautiful tapestry of service and impact. Never forget the lives you touch and the difference you make in our community.
The apostle Paul wrote, “Let all that you do be done in love.” (1 Corinthians 16:14) This verse has resonated deeply within me in recent years. As I step into a new season, I pray I have loved you well.
I love you! The memories we created will forever be in my heart. I am grateful for the privilege of serving alongside you. May God abundantly bless you, and may His love continue to shine through your actions, touching countless lives.
With Much Love, Pastor Peytyn xoxo
