Good day New Horizon family,

Bob and I are glad to be back home after attending the 2024 Wesleyan Heritage Pilgrimage with Bishop Berlin, Professor Paul Chilcote and other colleagues from the Florida Conference. We had the privilege of retracing and remembering our identity. Bishop wants no confusion about who we are and what we are called to be and do. We visited Epworth, Oxford, Bristol, London and other small cities in between. Bishop Berlin led us in sharing the take aways of the day in the evening. We celebrated Holy Communion not once but twice. It is a trip that transforms my life for eternity.

I am truly grateful to God for great leadership at New Horizon. Thank you pastoral, musical, hospitality, sound booth, et al teams for loving and serving God as you love and serve God’s church. You are the best. Thank you, Pastor Lisa, for preaching two powerful sermons. Bob and I were able to attend online with you this past Sunday and we were blessed. 

 We have great days ahead of us. I cannot wait to see God’s doings in our midst. God is good all the time. Watch the announcements and invite our friends to join us. God gifts each and everyone of us with special gifts and calls us to practice them unselfishly for the benefits of God’s kingdom right here right now. So, let’s be a witness for Christ.
