Greetings beloved sisters and brothers,

We continue to have lots of fun in Christ here at New Horizon. The women’s groups meet weekly on Wednesdays. Unless you come and experience the Word, the love, joy and prayer support shared among them, I find no way to describe that which comes only from the Holy Spirit that exists in their midst. Our youth returned from Warren Willis Camp with their team leaders, encouraged and ready to be a witness for Christ as they will share with the church family their camp experiences this Sunday in church. You wouldn’t want to miss hearing and praying with our young people.

Join us this Saturday from 9:30 to 11 in the Sanctuary for the District training Devoted to Fellowship and Joy. Church does not have to be boring. I cannot picture a boring Jesus. I believe he was and still is much fun to live with. I can’t wait to hear the district’s presentation this Saturday. Come and see and experience the warmth of the Holy Spirit on this holy ground for yourself. Surely The Presence of The Lord is in this place. And if you have not been to church lately, St. Paul is encouraging you to do so. Hear God’s Word in Hebrews 10:25 “And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of Christ’s return is drawing near.” I look forward to greeting you in person this Sunday, the Lord willing.
