Close the Gap Pledge Cards are Available in the Lobby

We ask that you pray about your donation and complete a pledge card in the next couple of weeks. The pledge cards are available in the lobby. You may also complete the card online: https://forms.gle/k61HtxVRrCkcPost9, or download the pledge card, print it, fill it out and bring it to the church. Thank you to those who have completed their pledge cards.

NH Book Club Thursday, June 20, 10:30 – 11:30 am

All are invited to join us for a discussion of The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store by James McBride. This novel shares the story of the Black and Jewish residents of the Chicken Hill neighborhood in Pottstown, PA in the 1920’s and 30’s. Please read the book and join us for our discussion.

Dinner Out Group Thursday, June 20, 6:00 pm, Rustic Inn

The New Horizon UMC “Dinner Out” group will gather in the spirit of Christian fellowship on Thursday, June 20 at 6PM at Rustic Inn Crab House (4331 Anglers Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, 33312, #954-842-2804). Enjoy fresh seafood such as fish, clams, lobster, shrimp… as well as their signature world famous garlic crabs! UM Men of Faith Thursday, June 20, 7:00 pm

New Horizon United Methodist Men of Faith will hold their next meeting on Thursday, June 20, 7:00 pm. We share in a devotion and will be discussing our upcoming events including our NH Family Festival (formerly our Patriotic Festival) on June 30 and the annual Pumpkin Patch the month of October. We hope you’ll join us and bring a friend

Sunday, June 23 we have one 10:15 am worship service with a potluck luncheon following. If you are able, please bring a dish ready to be placed on the table following the suggested: A-F Salad/Veggies; G-Q Main Dish; R-Z Dessert/Fruit.

If you would like to share an encouraging word, there are notecards available in the Sanctuary. Pastor Jacqui will be flying out later that day.

Coming Soon — Sunday, June 30 New Horizon Family Festival (formerly Patriotic Festival) Following our 10:15 am Worship Service

We are excited to celebrate in a new way. All are welcome to join us following our 10:15 am combined worship for our festival. Wear your red, white & blue! Our UM Men of Faith have a great day planned to include hot dog, beans, chips, ice cream & cookie lunch, games, patriotic tribute and more. Save the Date and tell your friends!

We are collecting socks and t-shirts for our homeless mission. A high percentage of homeless are our veterans.
