Subject: This Week at New Horizon: Where Is God Calling You to Serve?
Dear Beloved Family in Christ, Grace and peace to you this week.
As we continue to grow together as a church, we are reminded that ministry is not carried by a few—it is the shared calling of all of us. The pastors cannot do the work of the church alone. It takes a willing, praying, and engaged people to become the hands and feet of Christ in our community.
Before we go further, we celebrate and give thanks: our youth and their leaders did a wonderful job last Sunday. What a blessing to witness their leadership and heart for God. Please continue to keep them lifted in your prayers as they grow and serve.
This week, we invite you into a moment of intentional prayer and reflection:
Where is God calling you to serve?
There are many meaningful ways to get involved right now:
Assisting with the Church Directory to help us stay connected as a family.
Supporting Church Maintenance to care for the house God has entrusted to us.
Volunteering for Parents’ Night Out, creating a safe and joyful space for our children and families.
Serving in the Streaming and Sound Booth, helping us reach those beyond the walls.
Welcoming others as a Greeter, offering the first smile and sense of belonging.
Each of these ministries may seem simple, but together they build a strong, loving, and impactful church. Scripture reminds us:
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” — 1 Peter 4:10
And hear this encouragement:
“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” — Mahatma Gandhi
Serving is not just about filling a need—it is about answering a call. It is about aligning your heart with God’s purpose and becoming part of something greater than yourself.
We encourage you this week: pray boldly, listen carefully, and respond faithfully.
If you feel led to serve in any of these areas, please reach out to the church office or speak with a ministry leader this Sunday. There is a place for you here.
Together, we are building not just a church—but a community of love, service, and transformation.
Love and Towel (St. John 13:1-5),
