Good Morning, Beloved Family,
I recently took time to retreat, reflect, and listen to God’s gentle whisper with the guidance of a spiritual director and a therapist. In a world filled with noise and distractions, it’s easy to miss God’s voice. However, I chose to be still and quiet, trusting that God’s presence would be my guide. As we continue our journey together at New Horizon, I want to assure you that I am fully committed to our shared mission. Ministry is not an easy path, but I am convinced that Jesus is the One building God’s Church. As He reminded us, “In this world, you WILL have trouble. But take heart; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
I would like to extend my gratitude to Rev. Lisa Stamp and Rev. Dr. Simon Osunlana for leading our services over the past two Sundays.
As we enter this Advent season, I invite you to join me in praying the ancient prayer, “Maranatha” – Come, Lord Jesus. May this breath prayer be our constant reminder of God’s presence and promise. I look forward to seeing you in church and exploring “The Wonder of It All” together. May we be open to experiencing something beautiful, unexpected, and inexplicable this season. Join us, and invite a friend to experience the wonder of Advent with us.
Love and Towel (St. John 13:1-5)
