Advent Begins Sunday, November 30
Advent means ‘Coming’ in Latin. This is the coming of Jesus into the world. We use the four weeks of Advent to prepare ourselves and remember the real meaning of Christmas. Each Sunday we share in a special reading as the advent candles are lit in preparation of the arrival of Jesus Christ. This season is a perfect time to invite family and friends to join you in preparation for the true meaning of Christmas. Each Sunday in December join us at 7:00 pm for Holy Communion service.

Sunday, December 7 [PEACE] Special music from our Handbell Choir
Sunday, December 14 [JOY] Special music from our Chancel Choir-Christmas cantata JOY, String Trio will be playing our prelude and offering.
Sunday, December 21 [LOVE]
Wednesday, December 24 [CHRIST] Christmas Eve 4:00 pm Interactive Family Service (our children will become part of the nativity story), 5:30 pm Candlelight Communion. Our middle school flute trio will bring special music.

In Advent, we celebrate the arrival of Jesus. But in the midst of Christmas celebrations, we can forget a simple, essential truth: Jesus came because we need Him.
