We see the news and feel the tension. In a world filled with challenges, we may ask ourselves: How should we respond? Yet, as long as we stand together, we can overcome any obstacle. “A cord of three strands is not easily broken.” (Ecclesiastes 4:12)
As we continue our Lenten journey, let us remain steadfast in prayer and rooted in God’s Word. Over the past week, we have been revisiting our communication ministry, striving to enhance the worship experience for God and His people. You may have noticed small changes in the order of service as we work toward this goal.
Our Nomination Team is in prayerful consideration, seeking leaders who will help guide the church forward according to God’s plan. Meanwhile, the Congregational Care Team has been organizing visits to members of our community. If you receive an invitation for a visit with me, please know that it is not only for those who are ill—we simply wish to connect and strengthen our fellowship. Whenever our pastors and care team visit, they always go in pairs.
I had the privilege of visiting Residing Hope and attending two district meetings in Fort Lauderdale and Lauderdale Lakes. Additionally, our 2025 Women’s Retreat was a wonderful success! There is so much happening in our church family, and we want to keep you informed. If you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns, please feel free to email the church office or reach out to any of us. We are here to serve.
Please mark your calendars and support our ministries with your prayers, presence, and gifts, as we vowed to do. Invite your family and friends to our potluck Sunday, April 6, as part of our Easter celebration. Let’s come together in fellowship and joy as we share God’s love and a Word around the table.
Thank you for your love and support of New Horizon.
With love and service,
Pastor Tammie
