03/12/2025 A Note From Pastor Tammie

Losing Our Minds to Gain Christ’s Mind

This season, some of us may feel like we are on the brink of losing our mind—not physically, but spiritually. The battle is real and the adversary loves to make our mind his battleground. As Scripture reminds us, “We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities of this dark world.” (Ephesians 6:12)

Our minds are constantly overwhelmed—work, family, responsibilities, faith, and personal struggles. Thoughts flood in, leaving us weary. But what if, this Lent, we intentionally lost our minds? Not in despair, but in surrender.

What if we let go of the clutter and embraced the mind of Christ? After all, Philippians 2:5 calls us to “have the same mind that was in Christ Jesus.”

Let’s take this season to release the weight of our own understanding and seek the renewal that comes from thinking, loving, and living as Christ did.
