Reflections on Last Sunday’s Special Healing Service
Last Sunday’s Special Healing Service was truly an experience I won’t soon forget. As I sit here reflecting on the moments shared, I can’t help but recall the words of Jacob when he awoke at Bethel and declared, “Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it” (Genesis 28:16). That sentiment echoed deeply throughout our time together, as the Spirit of the Lord filled the sanctuary in a powerful and tangible way.
It’s amazing how God works, even in the midst of challenges. From the very beginning we encountered obstacles as our projector failed to work as planned. Then, our candles wouldn’t light. But despite these minor setbacks, God’s presence was undeniable. It didn’t matter if the lights flickered or the screens went blank; the Spirit of the Lord filled that room in ways words cannot fully express.
We had gathered after a week of prayer and 24 hours of fasting, all preparing for this moment of healing, restoration, and deep communion with God. And let me tell you, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation. We came expecting and believing, and the Lord met us right where we were. There is something so powerful about coming together as a body of believers, lifting up one voice, one heart, and one mind in pursuit of His presence.
As always, there’s a part of me that wishes every person who couldn’t make it could have experienced the outpouring of the Spirit that we witnessed. I am believing that your prayers are being answered in ways you can see and feel, and if you have any testimonies or experiences to share, I would love to hear from you. Please don’t hesitate to email me at pastortammieisidore@gmail.com and share how the Lord has touched your life.
The service was not only a time of prayer but also a moment to reflect on how we can serve and be of support to one another in the House of the Lord. We are in urgent need of volunteers to help ensure that all runs smoothly during our services and events. If you feel led to serve in any way, please reach out to me with your name and contact information. We would be so grateful for your support and would love to see you involved. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of others.
I look forward to seeing you in person this coming Sunday. Come expecting. Come believing. Bring a friend or a family member along to share in the experience of God’s healing touch. The Lord is faithful, and I know He will meet us in ways that will leave us forever changed.
