Join us for this ancient Shrove Tuesday tradition as we kick off Lent with flapjacks and sausages! Bring your family and friends! Carry out available. *This is our major camp scholarship fundraiser; donations appreciated. Tickets available in the lobby.

Ash Wednesday, February 22nd

The Bible does not mention Ash Wednesday or the custom of Lent, however, the practice of repentance and mourning in ashes is found in 2 Samuel 13:19; Esther 4:1; Job 2:8; Daniel 9:3; and Matthew 11:21. 

 Ashes Available in the Sanctuary from 8:00 am to 9:30 am

For those unable to attend the service in the evening, feel free to come in the morning between 8 and 9:30 for ashes.

 Worship at 7:00 pm

We hope you will plan on attending this service as we begin our 40 days of Lent observation. Music by our handbells.

We’re excited to present our 3rd Annual Women’s Retreat at New Horizon with keynote speaker Ginger Medley the pastor from Fulford UMC. Our presenters are focusing on Psalm 139; Pastor Lisa Stamp, Kerry Newness, Janice Brim and Ginny Calehuff. Registration forms available  – don’t forget to choose your lunch! “Companions in Christ” (In Spanish “Compañerismo en Cristo”)

We have a new Spanish language Bible study group, 

Nuevos Horizontes Hispanos, beginning Thursday, March 2nd at 7 pm sharp.  Our Bible Study is based on the Upper Room book :  “Companions in Christ” (In Spanish “Compañerismo en Cristo”). All are welcome to join us.
