Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. Hebrews 11:1
New Horizon family this week we celebrate the beginning of a new school year for many in our community. At the start of anything new we have many hopes and dreams.
What hopes and dreams do you have right now? What are you praying before God in faith for this season of your life?
I love this Scripture from Hebrews, it really focuses on what we hope for in the midst of God’s promises and reminds us sometimes we lose hope and faith because the promises we have received from God seem impossible and unfulfilled and yet we are still encouraged to have faith and reminded that the ancestors of our Christian faith had hope even though they never saw the promises they received from God fulfilled.
This new term lets us begin with three things that we are hoping in faith for, and do not see yet, perhaps write them down in a special place. For our faith is built in the evidence of God’s love for each of us. Let us together have faith that God will bring the fulfilment of the promises set in your heart.
We look forward to celebrating with you all on Sunday!
