A Note From Pastor Jacqui, 07/27/22

There are many treasures we have in life, mostly they are people. But we do have worldly treasure the very things that have such value to us that we often pay a great price for them or hold them dear because their meaning is so special.

This week we read from Luke 12 as we allow Jesus to challenge us to gather treasure on earth that rings into heaven. Please join us at 10am on this last Sunday in July.

It seems unbelievable that the month of July is nearly over. Some of our church families are on vacation and others are going to go away for a few days and we pray you have a lovely time away.

The Summer Holidays are almost over and a new school year is about to begin. Please plan to join us on the 14th of August at 10am as we pray for the beginning of this school term.

I am reminded that the one thing we can never buy is time, it really is a gift, a treasure to us. And as the new school ( and College) year is before us, new beginnings, new hopes and dreams await us.

Time is our greatest gift from God. There is a time as the scripture in Ecclesiastes 3 reminds us, for everything. Every moment. To be cherished.

Time is often spent investing in the things we treasure.

I pray that your time spent with friends and family is a blessing to you. If you are recovering from an operation or illness may the small still voice of God bring you comfort.

Have a very special remainder of your week and we look forward to seeing you on Sunday.

Blessings Jacqui
