NH Book Club Thursday, July 16, 10:30 am – The Only Woman in the Room

The Only Woman in the Room is a historical fiction novel by Marie Benedict about the life of actress and inventor Hedy Lamarr. The book focuses on her intelligence and her secret work as an inventor, particularly her contribution to frequency-hopping technology that became a precursor to modern Wi-Fi, all while navigating her film career and escaping her controlling husband and the Nazis. All are welcome to read the book and join us for discussion.
