Dear Beloved New Horizon Family,

Happy Independence Day! As we celebrate the Fourth of July and give thanks for the 250th anniversary of our nation, let us remember that every good gift comes from God. We are grateful for the freedoms we enjoy and pray that God will continue to guide America with wisdom, justice, mercy, and peace.

This week we also lift up our neighbors around the world, especially the people of Venezuela, and all those whose lives have been disrupted by devastating floods, wildfires, and other natural disasters. May the Lord bring comfort to those who grieve, strength to first responders, and hope to communities working to rebuild.

As we gather this Sunday, we will come to the Lord’s Table to celebrate Holy Communion—a reminder that Christ welcomes us, nourishes us, and unites us as one family. I hope you will make worship a priority and come expecting God to speak, encourage, and renew your heart.

Be a friend and invite a friend! You never know how one invitation can change someone’s life.

Please continue praying for those among us who need God’s healing touch—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Our God is still in the healing and restoring business. The Lord is at work, and we trust Him to do far more than we can ask or imagine.
